impending blizzard..

we are heading north.  my window holds a view of soft white snowflakes swirling around. the calm before the storm. we have decided it's best to head out early before all the snow chaos.   i pour a second cup of coffee and watch the steam rise up.  i look forward to the luxury of being together on this snowy weekend.  in a small window of good fortune my sister and her husband will join us for this special weekend at this beautiful b&b. the perfect place to be held captive.   the inn keepers are wonderful.

 i'm hoping to take lots of pictures.
