a month or so ago a sweet new couple moved in across the street. each day i would remind myself that i needed to make something to bring over and welcome them to the neighborhood. then the next day would come and i would look over recipes trying to figure out something that would be
appropriate to make for them. it seemed every day it was 100 degrees and i could not motivate myself to bake. well three weeks had passed and i was still "thinking" about what to do.
then i saw this quote:
"the smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention."
i remembered it was not in what i would make that would really matter, it would be in the thought, and the sooner the better. so i put together probably the simplest treat ever.
graham crackers
chocolate sauce
marshmallows
sprinkles.
break the crackers into 2 pieces
spread some melted chocolate on one side
melt a marshmallow on top of the other side
press together
spread a small amount of melted chocolate on the top of the right side
sprinkle with candies.
put them in cello bags (which makes everything festive)
and voila a sweet treat.
sorry i didn't take pictures of the process it was the simplest treat you could ever make.
welcome matt and courtney. hope you have lots of wonderful years here.
love sent, xo
