p.s. i love you

last night between tending to our garden and making berry crisp

i partially watched the above titled movie.
i am really bad at sitting still so it's really better for me to actually go to a movie than try to watch one at home.  there are always other things that i look around and find i just have to do.   i had seen the movie before, it is not a new movie it was released in 2007 but this time it was different.   i had just finished reading  this heartwarming and gut wrenching  story and in the book she refers to the movie.  i suggest you read the book,  it was raw and honest and will leave you changed.  find a comfortable chair, a bottle of wine and a big box of tissues. Tres incredible journey will remind you just how precious life is, of how life takes turns for the worst - but also turns for the best. you will be reminded to cherish each day with those you love the most.

i will leave you with some quotes from the movie that i loved!

"Finding someone you love and who loves you back is a wonderful, wonderful feeling. But finding a true soul mate is an even better feeling. A soul mate is someone who understands you like no other, loves you like no other, will be there for you forever, no matter what. They say that nothing lasts forever, but I am a firm believer in the fact that for some, love lives on even after we're gone.”

"We’re so arrogant, aren’t we? So afraid of age, we do everything we can to prevent it. We don’t realize what a privilege it is to grow old with someone."   - Daniel Connolly

“She was a woman who made mistakes, who sometimes cried on a Monday morning or at night alone in bed. She was a woman who sometimes found it hard to get up for work in the morning. She was a woman who more often than not had a bad hair day, who looked in the mirror and wondered why she couldn't just drag herself to the gym more often.

On the other hand, she was a woman with a million happy memories, who knew what it was like to experience true love and who was ready to experience more life"
